WindPaddle Adventure Kayak Sail

Our most popular sail, the WindPaddle Adventure Sail was recently upgraded to a larger 47″ diameter sail with a flatter profile. Now you have more power to help you in lighter winds, and the flatter cut allows for a more stable sail and easier across-the-wind sailing. Ease of Set-up
We developed the WindHarness which allows you to quickly attach your WindPaddle onto any boat or switch between boats in seconds. If your boat has anything that can be clipped to - including deck lines, cleats, bungees, pad eyes, fairleads, thwarts, handholds on the gunwale or bench seat - you can probably attach your WindPaddle to it!

Ease of Use
The WindPaddle sail deploys in a matter of seconds from the on-deck location. A continuous sheet (or steering line) allows the paddler to easily control the sail while keeping their paddle in their hands for bracing and steering. We also placed a large window in the center panel of the sail for visibility.

Safety
The WindPaddle design puts the center of force of the sail down low, at about the same level as the paddler, making the boat/sail combination incredibly stable and easy-to-use.

WindPaddle Makani SUP Sail

Power your SUP with the Makani sail. (FREE SHIPPING THIS WEEK!) The WindPaddle MaKaNi SUP sail is a sail for those looking to add diversity their SUP board. Glide gently, or power hard, depending on the wind speed. Clips to existing deck bungee or clip inserts on your board. Coil and lay flat on the deck of your SUP until you are ready for it, then pop it up and go!

Simply snap the”Makani” SUP sail to the forward deck lines on your SUP board and you are ready to fly! The “Makani” can be launched instantly from its stowed location. When it is time to quit sailing simply coil the big 54″ sail into a tiddy 20″ diameter coil and stow on deck.

The “Makani” uses existing or owner-added deck hardware for mounting and mounts 18″ - 24″ in front of the carrying handle.

Simply clip the WindHarness rigging clips (supplied) to a bungie or deck line for rigging the sail to your SUP. You can sail straight down wind, or across the wind. We know this isn’t windsurfing, but it’s FUN!
